Anastasios Michael Lellios, age 90, of Winfield, passed away on June 8, 2022. He was born on May 18, 1932, in Aurora, IL, to Michael and Harriet Lellios. Michael was united in marriage on May 2, 1952, to Dolores Schofield. He was a Korean War US Army Veteran who served in the 11th Airborne and finished his military career as a radio personality for the Armed Forces “Vagabond” Radio. He was a member of American Legion Post 300 and VFW Post 6791 in West Chicago. After the war, Michael took over the family business until the early 60s, when he started work in sales at WLS Radio Station, quickly becoming the top radio sales executive in Chicago for many years. He was a true entrepreneur, enjoying ventures in various businesses, and was a successful real estate broker. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan, but the thing he loved most was his family.
Michael is survived by his wife of 70 years; Dolores Lellios; son, Randy (Karen) Lellios; daughter, Pamela (late Jerry) Taylor; grandchildren, Alexis, Paige, Bryce, and Drake; sister, Sofia Lellios and relatives, and friends.
