Angela M. Tworek

Angela M. Tworek, age 73, of West Chicago, Illinois passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 8, 1950. 

She was married to James in 1969, became a mother in 1972 and became a grandmother in 2006.  Her family is what mattered most to her.

On top of being a homemaker, she was a registered Pharmacy Tech, worked at The West Chicago Press, St. Andrews Golf & Country Club and spent 15 years as a Deputy County Clerk for DuPage County.

She struggled with Parkinson’s Disease since 2006. We believe she is at peace in Heaven and has been reunited with her son Andrew.

She is survived by her husband James; her son David; her daughter Debra; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Henry, James and Rose. She is preceded in death by her son Andrew and her parents Vito (Penny) Calabrese, and Carmella (Frank) Stella

A private Catholic Mass and celebration of her life will be held with immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the DuPage Care Center Foundation.  The DuPage Care Center was her home since the fall of 2016.  The Tworek family is grateful for the dedicated and compassionate staff who work there and all the residents who became great friends.
