Armando Rosalio "Chato" Romero, age 55, of Madison, WI formerly of West Chicago, Born into eternal life on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at UW Hospital in Madison, WI.
He was born on March 17, 1955 in Mexico City, Mexico to Candido and Gloria Romero.
He was the loving husband of 8 years and best friend of Maria Romero; loving father of Vanessa Romero and James (Jen), Tony (Betty), Christina (Rick) and Tammy.
Grandfather of 14 children. Loving son of Candido and Gloria Romero.
Dear brother of Gilbert (Anita), Maria, Jaime (Kathy), Linda (Peter), David (Robin) and Theresa (Juan).
Uncle of many fond nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed and remembered for his sense of humor, charitable nature and relentless support as a leader of the Hispanic community and most of all for his love of his family and strong Catholic faith.
Visitation Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 2:00 p.m. at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago and proceed St. Mary's Church in West Chicago for Mass at 2:30 p.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
