Beatrice Lenertz

Beatrice Lenertz, age 94, lifetime resident of West Chicago, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 in West Chicago. She was born in Lisle, Illinois on November 29, 1915 to Frank and Jennie Rieser. Beatrice worked as an assistant assessor for Winfiled Township and was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, gardening, and an avid reader and was very active though out her life. Beatrice was a Martha of St. Mary's Church, former member of the Catholic Daughters of America, former cook for the sisters of St. Mary's School and former cubs scout leader.
She is survived by four sons; Ed (Lee) Lenertz of Somonauk, IL, Jim Lenertz of Yuma, AZ, Richard (Christine) Lenertz of Kenosha, WI and Frank Lenertz of West Chicago; five grandchildren; David Lenertz, Jessica Lenertz, Lara (Jeff) Nendick, Jason (Julie) Lenertz and Jeanine Lenertz; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild;one sister; Eleanor Gustafson of St. Charles, IL and one brother-in-law Hank Lenertz of Inverness, FL
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph in 1991; one brother; Clarence Rieser and two sisters; Bernice Rieser Hess and Lorraine Vogt Rausch.
Visitation Saturday, December 26, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago and proceed St. Mary's Church in West Chicago for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Contribution's to several charities in Beatrice's memory can be made through the family.
