Bill Halfpenny

Bill Halfpenny, age 59, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 20, 2011. He was born on March 27, 1951 in Berwyn, IL to Fredrick and Ethel Halfpenny. Bill was united in marriage on October 4, 1968 to Cathy Machin. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. Bill loved his family and especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cathy, two daughters; Melissa (Matt) Cosme of West Chicago and Shellie (Brian) Anderson of Bartlett; four grandchildren; Thomas, Connor, Payton and William; three brothers; Dennis (Sharon) Halfpenny, Mike (Barb) Halfpenny and Brett (Shelly) Halfpenny; three sisters; Karen Lamborghini, Pat (George) Davidson and Laurette (Mike) Howard; great-uncle; Skip (Gloria) Baker and many nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; Barbara Virgili and Sandra Streadwick and one brother; Tracy Halfpenny.
