Bruce J. Heinz, age 69, of South Elgin and former resident of St. Charles and Winfield, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 30, 2012. He was born on April 23, 1943 to Otto and Lillian Heinz. Bruce was a demolition contractor at Reliable Wrecking Service Inc. with his late brother Otto. He was a hard worker and was a friend to many.
Bruce is survived by his children, Monica, Bruce (Elisabeth), and Eric (Cheryl); grandchildren, Erica, Jessica, Sara, Raymond, Cameron, Alex, Josh, Zach, Mason, Mitchell, Heidi, Logan and Onya; great-grandchildren Kayla, Lilly, Thomas, Layla and Wyatt; siblings; Sophie (late Jim) Walker, Barb (late Don) Voirol, Gerry (late Don) Ponziani; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Lynn; brothers, Otto (RaeAnne) Heinz and John (JoBeth) Heinz and sister, Elaine (late Ernest) Siefert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 3 to 9 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Reverend Tim Mitchell will officiate. Interment Private.
