Carole Lamczyk

Carole A. Lamczyk (nee James), age 68, of Kaneville, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. She was born on June 8, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Melvin and Helen James. Carole was united in marriage on August 21, 1969 to George Lamczyk. She worked over 33 years for Western Electric/ATT where she retired. Carole was a very giving person always putting everyone first and even knitting for children at Mercy Hospital in Aurora.
She is survived by her husband, George of 45 years; children, Robyn Ingemunson, Michael Lamczyk and Steven (Rebecca) Lamczyk; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia Dunning, Sharon Gritt and Kathleen (Steve) Edwards; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 3 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont Street (1 block north of Washington & Main) West Chicago. Visitation will resume on Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Gall Church, 120 W. Shannon (Rt. 47 and Shannon St.) , Elburn from 9 a.m. until time of mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Gall Cemetery in Elburn.
