Dale Charles Henning

Dale C. Henning, age 81, of Elgin, IL, passed away April 15th, 2023, in his home in West Chicago, IL from natural causes. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Vivian Henning; his son, Christopher (Amanda) Henning; and his brother, Robert Henning. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Kathy; his sons, Stephen (Donna), Patrick (Nicole), Ryan (Katherine); and 6 grandchildren. 

Dale was an avid fisherman and machinist who loved to garden. He was active in his family's lives being the best handyman, and a devoted and doting grandfather. Dale could fix anything, and when it came to fishing, catch anything. 

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., (one block north of Washington St. and Main St.) West Chicago, IL 60185 A short service will follow visitation at the funeral home at 4 p.m.. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
