Dolores Cerny

Dolores Cerny , age 91, of St. Charles, formerly of West Chicago, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017.

She was born on December 20, 1925 in Geneva, IL to Joseph and Elizabeth Cerny. Dolores retired from George J. Ball Company Seed Company where she worked in the credit department. She was a lifetime member of St. Michael’s United Church of Christ in West Chicago where her Church was a big part of her life. Dolores loved animals, loved people, and loved traveling, especially to the Northwoods. She also was a big football fan, a diehard Chicago Bears fan.

Dolores is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (1 block north of Washington & Main), West Chicago. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s United Church of Christ, 400 W. Washington St, West Chicago. Rev. Sue Ebersold officiating. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
