Donald John Newton , age 66, of West Chicago, passed away on June 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Cooke); loving father of Kate Newton, Jeanne Newton (Brian Krueger), John Newton and Susie (Mike) Sundblom; dear grandfather of Dylan and Evan; brother of Tom, Peter (Chris), Brian (Janet) and Mary (Jack) Licar; uncle of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Retired director of organizing the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers and 40 year member of Local 56, Illinois. Visitation on Monday, June 22, 2015 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). Funeral services on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
