George Pesetski

George Pesetski , age 90, was born on February 20, 1927 in old St. Charles Hospital in Aurora, IL and passed away into eternal life in January 14, 2018. He had a varied career with a TV Production Company, Book Publishing Co, and as a Real Estate Broker/Owner from which he last retired. He was an avid Rotarian an past president and lifetime honorary member of the West Chicago Rotary Club. He enjoyed many hobbies and was a member of the Barbershoppers singing society and sang in a quartette for many, many years.

He was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church and sang in the choir for many years. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a life member of both the American Legion and VFW of West Chicago.

George is survived by his brother, Lawrence, of Proctor, MN and many nieces and nephews near and far.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Catherine; sisters, Ann Seely and Jean Juda; and brothers, Alex, Steve and Pete.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at  10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church , 164 N. Oakwood, West Chicago. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in West Chicago.
