Gerald Nicoski

Gerald Stanley Nicoski, age 79, Korean Conflict US Army Veteran, 63 year resident of West Chicago, passed away June 19, 2009. He was born on September 21, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Estelle Nicoski. Mr.Nicoski was a graduate of West Chicago High School. He was united in marriage on May 16, 1953 to Ruth "Marie" Nicoski. Gerald was a member of St. Mary's Parish in West Chicago and a member of the American Legion Post 300 of West Chicago. He is survived by two sons Gary (late Chris) Nicoski of Carol Stream, Tom (Wendy) Nicoski of St. Charles, one daughter JoAnn (Paul) Ulin of West Chicago, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one brother Donald Nicoski. He is preceded in death by his wife Marie of 54 years and his parents. Visitation Monday, June 22, 2009 from 3 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. West Chicago.
