Gerald Risch

Gerald E. Risch, age 81, of Antioch, passed away on July 20, 2021. He was born in Aurora, IL, on September 22, 1939, to Theodore and Florence Risch.

Jerry started his career in the printing business and ended his printing career with The Typographers. After spending most of his life in the printing business, he worked as a used car salesman at Saturn of Libertyville. Jerry really enjoyed the sales business and continued to wheel and deal into his retirement. He loved cars, boats, snowmobiles and enjoyed the company of his cats and dogs.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Maria Carder; daughter, Sharon Risch; son, Jerry Jr. (Erin) Risch; grandsons, Brandon White, and Joe Bachara; sister, Linda (Larry) Grant; nieces and nephews, Amber Timm, Mark (Heidi) Timm, Kelly Timm, Barbara (Robert) Dieckmann, Gary (Lori) Heissler and Richard (Cheryl) Heissler; and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Tom Risch, brother, Ted (Millie) Risch, and sister, Adele (late Edward) Heissler.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. directly at the family crypt in Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago. Family and friends can begin gathering at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery. Contributions in Jerry’s memory can be made to Catholic Charities, Meals on Wheels Program - Attn: Martha Orozco, 671 South Lewis Ave., Waukegan, IL 60085. For Info 847-782-4245
