Joan Treudt

Joan Treudt, age 85, of Benton, KY, former longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away Friday morning, October 7, 2011 at St. Alexius Hospital in Hanover Park, IL. She was born on March 27, 1926. Joan had resided most of her life in West Chicago where she raised her family of four children: Terry (Nancy), Bruce (Norene), Steve (Suzanne) and Janice Sickinger (Dan). She was also the grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of eleven. Joan and her husband, Bill Treudt, had resided in their home in Kentucky Lake for the past 19 years.
Also mourning her passing are her brother Curtis Larsen and his wife Judy, her sister-in-law Beatrice Larsen and numerous nieces and nephews.
A life-long Christian and active member of the communities in which she resided, she will be missed by friends in both Kentucky and Illinois.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 3 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago.
