John 'Jack' Frederick

John W. "Jack" W. Frederick , age 71, of West Chicago, passed away October 19, 2021. He was born on February 22, 1950, in Chicago, IL to John and Arlene Frederick. Jack was united in marriage on May 27, 1979, to Cheryl Voeller. He was a hardworking carpenter who took pride in his work. Jack built his house in West Chicago and in Montello, Wisconsin and if you knew Jack, he probably worked on your house. He loved fishing, the outdoors, being involved in his boys’ sports and being a part of his daughter’s horse shows.

Jack is survived by his wife of 42 years of marriage, Cheryl Frederick; children, Sean Frederick (Emily Redmond), Justin Frederick (Lauren Hudak), Ben Frederick and Alissa (Drew) Cotton; grandchildren, Brody, Avery, Emma, Andrew, Carter, Paige, Jordan, and Alexander; brother, Jim (Kathy) Frederick; sisters, Marilyn (Randy) White, Sue (Bob) Fowler and Patti Dowling; many brother-in-law trainees; and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. & Main Street), West Chicago. A service will be held at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
