Joseph Cusack

Joseph Richard Cusack Sr., age 80, of West Chicago, passed away on November 27, 2017. He was born on December 20, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Francis and Angela Cusack. He was a US Army & National Guard Veteran. Joseph was united in marriage on October 10, 1964 to Margaret “Chic” Gabel. He worked for many years at Illinois Bell/AT&T where he retired. He was a Chicago White Sox and Blackhawks fan, as well as a huge Green Bay Packers fan. Also, Joseph loved watching old mo vies.

Joseph is survived by his wife Margaret “Chic” Cusack, of 53 years; daughters, Elizabeth, Frances and Caroline; sons, John, Joseph Jr. and William; sister, Theresa LaSala; and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Margaret “Peggy” and brother, Fred Cusack.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. Prayers will be on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and proceed to St. Mary’s Church , 164 N. Oakwood Ave., West Chicago where a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
