Josephine Cook

Josephine Cook (Larsen), Age 78, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.

She was born on November 14, 1944, in Sheffield England to William and Florence Larsen. Josephine came over to the United States on the Queen Mary when she was 1 year old. She loved gardening, knitting, sewing, and reading. She loved a good cup of coffee and had a special fondness for dogs.

Josephine is survived by her children, Michelle (Jeff) Yonkus, Pamela Baye, Keith (Michelle) Foster, Wendy (Charlie) Martin, and Matthew (Jenny) Cook; grandchildren, Katie, Stephanie, Ryan, Angela, Ashley, Madison, Charlie, Justine, Jacob, Joshua and Hannah; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roger and sister, Marilyn (Bruce) Gaye, granddaughter Alyssa Baye.

A memorial visitation will be held at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington and Main St.) West Chicago, IL on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
