Julianne B. Barnoski (nee Weber), age 80, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on June 17, 2023. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 12, 1942, to Emil Weber and Norma Devereaux. She grew up in Manteno, IL where she spent her childhood and high school years. Julie was united in marriage on November 26, 1977, to Raymond Barnoski. She worked for many years as a typographer for Chicago Magazine. Julie was a member of St. Mary’s Church in West Chicago, and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court #432. She enjoyed gardening, baking, playing canasta, painting and she especially loved her family dearly.
Julie is survived by her husband Ray of 44 years; son, Michael (Adrienne) Barnoski; granddaughters, Ava, and Ella; brothers, Joseph (Nancy) Weber and David Weber; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (1 block north of Washington & Main) West Chicago. A memorial Mass will be held on Monday, July 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 164 N. Oakwood, West Chicago. Inurnment to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
