Julie Hansen

Julie Hansen (Anzelmo) , age 84, of West Chicago, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 29, 2017. She was born on March 26, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Agave and Mamie Anzelmo. Julie was united in marriage on June 21, 1952 to Lee Hansen. She worked many years at West Chicago Junior High in the cafeteria and over 20 years as a surgical secretary at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. Julie took numerous trips to her favorite destination of Las Vegas. She loved her family and adored her grandchildren.

Julie is survived by her children, Leann Stahelin (Tim) of West Chicago, William (Georgia) Hansen of Elburn and Michael Hansen of West Chicago; grandchildren, Eric Stahelin, Lindsay (Mitch) Herwaldt, Samantha Hansen and Brett Hansen; brother, Tom Anzelmo; sister, Grace (Bob) Johann; many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee in 1990; and brothers, John and Joe Anzelmo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of  funeral services at 12:30 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services (one block north of Washington St. and Main), 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.
