Julie Michelle Volk

Julie Michelle Volk, age 37, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2022.  She was born in St. Charles, IL on September 16, 1984 to Martin and Pamela Volk.

Julie was a special education elementary school teacher and enjoyed living in New York City the past 9 years enjoying the musicals on Broadway and all that New York had to offer. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julie was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. 

Julie is survived by her parents, Martin and Pamela Volk; brother, Carl (Jillian) Volk; sisters, Deanna (Jarom) Dietz, Sarah Volk and Amy Volk; nieces and nephews, Isaiah Dietz, Ella Dietz, Samuel Volk, Lilyanna Dietz, Felicia Dietz, Emmaline Volk, Colin Dietz, Margaret Volk and Lucas Volk; stepgrandfather, Glen Rowedder (paternal) and stepgrandmother, Pat Becker (maternal) and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 429 Old Kirk Rd., Geneva, Illinois 60134. Funeral Service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Procession to follow to Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
