Laurel Avila , age 67, passed away on February 25, 2021. Loving husband of Elena Avila. Loving father of Yanet (Mike) Abbas, Yoselina Avila and Ruben Avila. Loving grandfather of Samuel, Noah, Izabella, Joshua, Itzel, Jacob, and Alexander. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont Street (One block north of Washington St. & Main St.) Monday evening service at 7:00 p.m.  Service Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery . (Anyone attending the visitation is required to wear a facemask inside the funeral home as per state guidelines and please be brief with your visit to allow everyone the opportunity to pay their respects to keep in accordance with the CDC-guidelines)
