Lillie Mae Bahr, 89, lifelong resident of West Chicago, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009.
She was born on February 1, 1920 in Bisbee, ND to George and Lillie Mae Heinz.
Lillie Mae was united in marriage to Rannalt Bahr on October 19, 1946. She was a member of St. Mary's parish in West Chicago as well as an active member of Catholic Daughters of America for more than 60 years. Her favorite pastime was crocheting.
She is survived by four daughters Bettyanne Tutaj of West Chicago, Leona (Richard) Caparelli of Baraboo, WI, Dorothy (Calvin) Olsen of El Paso, TX and Lily Mammoser of North Aurora, IL; Three sons, Rannalt (Kathy) Bahr of Montgomery, IL; Henry and Donald Bahr of West Chicago; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters; Victoria Spoden, Georgene Cook, Arlene Pedersen; one sister-in-law Cora Heinz and two brothers-in-law Winton Dunlop and Roger Pederson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Rannalt in 2003; one brother Leonard Heinz; two sisters, Mary Dunlop and Pauline Snyder
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 3 to 8 PM at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. Prayers Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home to St. Mary's Church Mass 10 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery in West Chicago
