Lois Kress

Lois S. Kress (nee Shuler), age 87, of Batavia, and former long time resident of Green Valley, AZ and West Chicago, passed away on September 6, 2015. She was born on May 12, 1928 in Elgin to Paul and Laura Shuler. Lois was united in marriage on June 15, 1957 to Elmer Kress. She was a member of the American Legion Post 300 Ladies Auxiliary of West Chicago. She enjoyed living in Green Valley, AZ with her late husband and loved her family.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Carla (Mike) Urban of Batavia; grandchildren, Jake, Alyssa and Dominick; and nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer in 2014; sister, Elaine Lancaster and brother, Vernon Shuler.
Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 3 p.m. until time of service at 5 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main). Reverend Sue Ebersold officiating.
