Lynn Karen Thrasher

Lynn Karen Thrasher (Kivi), age 75, of Carol Stream, passed away on February 8, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1946, in Ironwood, Michigan to Wilbur and Lillian Kivi. Lynn was united in marriage in 1967 to Charles Thrasher. She worked as a ticket agent at O’Hare Airport for US Airways over 40 years. Working for the airlines, she traveled all over the world. Lynn enjoyed cooking, shopping, crocheting, gardening, tatting and in her younger years was an avid skier. She was a loving wife and mother.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles Thrasher; son James (Sarah) Thrasher; several cousins in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kurtis and twin brother, William.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St). A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Interment private. Contributions in Lynn’s memory may be made to DuPage PADS, 601 West Liberty, Wheaton, IL 60187.
