Marilyn Carr

Marilyn Joanne Carr (Nanfield) , age 78, of Elkhorn, WI, passed away on January 9, 2020.  She was born in Chicago, IL on February 18, 1941 to Lloyd and Carol Nanfield. Marilyn was united in marriage on December 29, 1963 to William Carr.  She was an artist and pianist who loved nature, gardening, and enjoying good times with family and friends. She was a wonderful friend to many and dearly beloved by her family.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bill, of 56 years; children, Nancy (Jay) Edwards, Brian (Grace) Carr and Aimee (Aaron) Owens; grandchildren, Rebecca, Dylan, Ethan, Sarah, James, Mason and Ava; brother, William (Merribeth) Nanfield; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of Marilyn’s life will take place on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marilyn’s memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N.
