Mary Lou White

Mary Lou White (Szabo) , age 83, of Winfield, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was born on August 9, 1932 in Chicago, IL to John and Gertrude Szabo. Mary Lou was a homemaker and worked as a representative for Avon for 30 years. She loved animals (especially her cats) and enjoyed sewing and crocheting in her spare time.

Mary Lou was the beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Kenneth White, Linda Oksman and the late Bill (Diana) White; dear grandmother of her special caregiver Christopher Tebbens, Jennifer (Jesus) Anacleto, Kenneth James White, Anthony John White and Nicholas White; great-grandmother of 4; sister of the late John Szabo, Gertrude Szabo and Elizabeth Waser; sister-in-law of Lois Hanks and the late Joseph White and Clarence White; special aunt of Marilyn Jorgensen and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. & Main Street) West Chicago. Prayers, Friday March 11, 2016 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield. Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Interment service after mass at Assumption Cemetery .
