Mary H. Meyers

Mary H. Meyers (Kuhn), age 95, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. She was born August 9, 1928 in Naperville where she would spend her youth. Mary was united in marriage on October 19, 1946 to the late Joseph Meyers. She enjoyed singing and sang for weddings at St. Peter and Paul Church in Naperville and sang in the church choir at St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield. She enjoyed playing cards and loved her family dearly. No matter what, Mary was first always a wife and mother.

Mary is survived by her children, Susan (Joseph) Stramaglia, Shirley Meyers, Richard Meyers, Ronald Meyers and Randy Meyers; grandchildren, Sheri, Chuck, Jeff, Jim, Sarah, Amy, Jake and Josh; great-grandchildren, Michael, Courtney, Allison, Mike, Ty, Ellia, Bo and Izzy; great-great-grandchild, Thomas; nieces; nephews; relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Walter T. and Ottilia Kuhn and siblings, Ray Kuhn, Ruthie Kuhn, Regina Laggis, Kitty Doolin, Walter P. Kuhn, Alvin Kuhn, Henrietta "Hank" Richardt, and Dick Kuhn. 

Burial services are being held privately at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton. A celebration of life for Mary will take place at a later date.
