Mavis Vrenios

Mavis "Mickey" Vrenios (nee McDaniel), age 78, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born in Dresden, TN to Henry and Necie McDaniel. Mickey was united in marriage to Theodore "Ted" Vrenios.
She enjoyed painting, gardening, traveling, collecting antiques, and being a caregiver to so many people.
Mickey is survived by her husband Ted; son, Andrew (Robyn) Vrenios of Lindenhurst; sister, Gaynell; brother, Terry, and numerous nieces; nephews; relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 1 pm until 6 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main) West Chicago. Interment Private. Contributions in Mickey's memory may be made to Tri-city Corps, 1710 S. 7th Ave., St. Charles, IL 60174
