Mildred Larson

Mildred A. Larson, age 93, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010. She was born on March 28, 1917 in Beggs, Oklahoma to Clark and Ethel Cronin. Mildred served in the US Army during WWII. She was a loving mother who loved to garden, knit, crochet, and read.
Mildred is survived by her daughter Mary L. Larson of West Chicago; two sisters; Mary Lou Loofburrow and Clara Beth Barker and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Willard in 1982; son George; two sisters; Pauline Dyer and Sammy Duggins and two brothers Clarence and Wesley Cronin.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. West Chicago. Elder Willie Thomas officiating.
