Nadene Chasteen

Nadene Marie Chasteen, age 80, longtime resident of West Chicago, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born on June 29, 1930 in Johnston City, IL to John and Hallie Eberhardt. She was united in marriage on March 20, 1948 to Robert Chasteen. Nadene always put her family first. She was a fun loving woman with a great sense of humor and a great love for animals. Numerous dogs and cats found happy homes under her care. She will be greatly missed.
Nadene is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert, one son, John Robert (Gerri) Chasteen of LaValle, WI, one daughter, Sandra (Gerald) Weiland of Geneva and two grandchildren; Robert (Jill) Chasteen and Crystal Revord.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Lee Eberhardt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 3 pm until time of service at 7 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St. West Chicago. Pastor Brian Coffey officiating.
