Patrick J. Dooley

Patrick J. Dooley, age 75, of West Chicago, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on June 28, 2023. Beloved son of the late Clayton and Helen (Besch) Dooley. Brother of Michael (Claudia) Dooley of Chesterfield, MO; Mary (Patrick) Harrison of Plymouth, MN; and James (Debra) Dooley of McHenry, IL, as well as uncle to eight nephews. A lifelong resident of West Chicago, IL, Patrick attended St. Francis High School in Wheaton, IL and St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN. He pursued a career, primarily in the hospitality industry, culminating in his role as Banquet Manager at The Oscar Swan B&B in Geneva, IL. Patrick was an avid reader and student of history, particularly of Russia, Germany, and the Catholic Church. He thoroughly enjoyed gardening, and was a collector of antiques, and very interested in the ancestry of his family. He will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Winfield, IL, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 10:30 AM, (Family and friend may begin gathering at 10:00 AM) with a cemetery service to follow immediately at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
