Ricardo Salvador "Pnut" Romero

Ricardo Salvador Romero, a.k.a. Pnut, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was just 13 years old.

Ricardo was well-known for his violin, pianist, handyman, soccer player, and virtuoso computer/gamer skills. Pnut’s good attitude, kindhearted soul, and likable personality helped make him popular at school, with teammates, and with his vast family. Ricardo was a great student and a talented musician in the school orchestra.

Ricardo is survived by his parents, Monica & Richard, sisters, Amanda & Amelia, and pet sidekick, CHYP.

Visitation Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont Street (one block north of Washington St. and Main St.), West Chicago, IL 60185. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a rosary to follow the funeral service. Interment Private.
