Robert C. Diebold

Robert C. Diebold, age 93, of West Chicago passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025. He was born in West Chicago, IL on October 9, 1931, to Chester and Bernice Diebold. Bob was a lifelong resident of West Chicago and was a supervisor at George J. Ball Horticultural Company, retiring in 1998 after 28 years of service. He also worked for over 20 years at C.C. Diebold Well Drilling. He was an avid collector of antique reliques.

Bob is survived by his son, John Diebold.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Bernice and son, Brian.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. and Main), West Chicago. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Glen Oak Cemetery in West Chicago.
