Robert Jones Sr.

Robert B. Jones Sr. , age 85, of West Chicago, passed away on September 8, 2017. He was a US Navy Veteran.

Bob is survived by his wife, Darlene (nee Conroy) of 61 years; children, Robert Jr. (Karen) Jones; Denise (Richard) Gehrett; Daniel (Jamie) Jones and Mark Jones; grandchildren, Andrew, Catherine, Joseph, Erin, Michael and Kayla; sisters, Beverly (late Edward) Flynn, Geraldine (Donald) Wilson and Joyce; brother, Donald (Maureen) Jones; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Etta, and sisters, Dorothy (Edward) Meilner, Gwendolyn (late Bill) McKenny, Gertrude (late Thomas) Murtaugh and Lorraine (late Eugene) Piernikowski.

Visitation Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Norris- Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (1 block north of Washington & Main) West Chicago. Prayers will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home and proceed to St. John the Baptist Church in Winfield where a funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery .
