Roberta Macko

Roberta K. Macko (nee Mendriski) , age 83, of West Chicago, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Chicago on October 16, 1937, to Edward and Wanda Mendriski. Roberta was united in marriage on February 15, 1958, to John L. Macko. She worked for many years as a CEO for various Credit Unions. She was an amazing artist, loved music, loved to sing, crochet, write poetry and she especially loved her family dearly.

She was the beloved wife of John Macko of 63 ½ years of marriage; mother of Mary (Harvey) Griffith, Tisha Macko, the late Laura Macko and John (Cindy) Macko; grandmother of Morgan, Tim, Courtney, Tyler, Aaron, Hayley, Christine, Erlicia, Wesley, Daniel, and Jacob; great-grandmother of Elijah, Lucas, Abel, Elena, Lydia, Journie and Adelaide; sister of the late Gwen, the late Roger, the late Avice, David and the late Mary Josephine.
