Sheryl Rooney

Sheryl Lynn Rooney, age 51, of St. Charles, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva. She was born on March 25, 1960 in Chicago, IL to Clarence and Dolores Adair. Sheryl loved her job as an office administrator at Arden Courts in Geneva. She had a great love for animals and the outdoors.
Sheryl is survived by one daughter, Katherine Rooney of Sycamore; one son; Patrick Rooney (Ashley Czajka) of St. Charles; two step-sons, Matthew and Michael Riggs; Significant Other Peter Riggs; parents, Clarence (Mary) Adair of St. Petersburg, FL and Dolores Adair of Joliet, IL; two brothers, John (Marge) Adair and David (Donna) Adair; and relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her ex-husband Ronald Rooney.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 from 3 to 8 pm at Norris-Walen-Segert Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago (One block north of Washington St. & Main St).
