Shirley Rolseth

Shirley Rolseth (Kolzow) , age 78, of West Chicago, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020. She was born on January 22, 1942 in Hinsdale, IL to Raymond and Freida Kolzow. Shirley was united in marriage on November 11, 1961 to Richard Rolseth. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Chicago. Shirley worked in the billing department at Ball Seed Company in West Chicago where she retired after 35 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, ceramics and reading. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family dearly.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Richard Rolseth, of 58 years; children, Robert (Marilyn) Rolseth, Michael (Teri) Rolseth and Nancy Rolseth; grandchildren; Susan, Steven (Danielle), Scott, Becky, Alex and Missy; great-granddaughter, Lily; sisters, Alice and Carol; and relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home & Cremation Services , 132 Fremont St. (one block north of Washington St. & Main Street), West Chicago. Shirley will lie in state on Monday, February 3, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church , 328 George St., West Chicago. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Fred Gaede officiating. Interment Private.
