Terry L. Vermedal

Terry L. Vermedal, age 76, of Batavia and formerly of Naperville, passed away on August 6, 2024. He was born on July 24, 1948, in Mason City, Iowa to Paul and Frances Vermedal. He was a US Army Veteran. Terry was united in marriage on June 5, 1977, to Karen Ann DeGirolamo. He was a great dad who enjoyed coaching his son’s teams. He enjoyed fishing and was active with his son’s Cub Scout and extracurricular activities.

Terry is survived by his son, Aaron (Lauren) Vermedal; grandchildren, Charlotte, Emmelyn and Hudson; brother, Rick (Jean) Vermedal; sister, Becky (Tom) Hall; and relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Karen.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Norris-Segert Funeral Home and Cremation Services (one block north of Washington St. and Main), 132 Fremont St., West Chicago.
